A young man with no constructive outlet will find a destructive one. That’s not a moral failing; it’s physics. The nativist movement understands this perfectly. It offers adrenaline, belonging, and a clear enemy. The liberal elite, meanwhile, offers… spreadsheets and sensitivity training. No wonder we’re losing.

We need a new YMCA – not the old one (swimsuits and basketball), but a network of constructive adrenaline outlets:

  • Flight training – teenagers can earn a private pilot license at 17. The same risk‑reward that once sent men to war can now send them to the sky.
  • Commercial space exploration – the space economy is booming, and it’s hungry for young talent. Aerospace engineering, mission support, even “test bunny” science roles. Hard, demanding, status‑conferring.
  • Extreme environment science – geology, polar research, deep‑sea submersibles. The frontier is still there; it’s just moved to the poles and the ocean floor.
  • Outdoor adventure & conservation – trekking, prospecting, wildlife management. Real work, real danger, real purpose.
  • Blue‑collar trades with a future – solar installation, data centre construction, energy auditing. Skills that pay and matter.

These are not “soft” alternatives. They are hard, competitive, and meaningful. They offer mastery, camaraderie, and a path to the middle class.

The nativist pipeline funnels young men into border patrol or militia performance. Our pipeline funnels them into flight school, space courses, and high‑altitude research stations. One leads to resentment and stagnation. The other leads to a life worth living.

The YMCA for our time isn’t a building; it’s an ecosystem of challenge and reward. Build it, and they will come – not to fight, but to fly.
